Martin Green was born in Brisbane, Australia and educated at the University of Queensland and McMaster University, Canada. After completing his PhD at McMaster, he joined the University of New South Wales, Sydney where he is now a Scientia Professor and the Founding Director of the Australian Centre for Advanced Photovoltaics, involving five other Australian Universities and research groups. His group’s contributions to photovoltaics include conception and first demonstration of both “PERC” and “TOPCon” solar cells, accounting for over 90% of global production, and holding the record for silicon cell energy conversion efficiency for 3 of the last 4 decades, regarded as a “Top Ten” milestone in solar photovoltaics history since Becquerel’s initial studies in 1839. Major international awards include the 1999 Australia Prize, the 2021 Japan Prize, the 2022 Millennium Technology Prize and the 2023 Queen Elizabeth Prize for Engineering (with three of his former students).

Prof Z.Y. Dong is currently Singapore Power Group (SPG) Endowed Professor of Power Engineering, and Co-Director of SP-NTU Joint Lab at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. His previous roles include SHARP Professor with the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Australia. He was the inaugural Director of UNSW Digital Grid Futures Institute; Director of ARC Research Hub for Integrated Energy Storage Solutions; Ausgrid Chair Professor and Director of Ausgrid Centre for Intelligent Electricity Networks providing R&D support for the AU$500m Smart Grid, Smart City national demonstration project. His research interest includes power system planning, load modelling, smart grid, smart cities, energy market, renewable energy and its grid connection, and computational methods and their application in power system analysis. He has been serving as editor/associate editor of several IEEE transactions and IET journals. He is a Fellow of IEEE.

Philip W. T. Pong received a B.Eng. from the University of Hong Kong (HKU) in 2002 with 1st class honours. Then he studied for a PhD in engineering at the University of Cambridge (2002-2005). He was a postdoctoral researcher at the Magnetic Materials Group at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) for three years. His research interest currently focuses on the development and application of advanced sensing techniques based on electromagnetic sensors in smart grid and nanotechnology. Philip Pong is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (FIET), a Fellow of the Energy Institute (FEI), a Fellow of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (FIMMM), a Fellow of the NANOSMAT Society (FNS), a chartered physicist (CPhys), a chartered electrical engineer (CEng), a chartered energy engineer, a registered professional engineer (R.P.E. in Electrical, Electronics, Energy), a Senior Member of IEEE (SMIEEE) and a corporate member of HKIE (MHKIE in Electrical Division and Electronics Division). He serves on the editorial boards for several IEEE and SCI journals.

Sir Ruggero M. Santilli obtained his Ph. D. in theoretical physics at the University of Torino, Italy in 1965; he then emigrated to the U.S.A. in 1967 where he was on the faculty of the University of Miami, Boston University, MIT, and Harvard University under financial support from NASA, UFOSR and DOE. In 1991 he accepted the position of President and Professor at the Institute for Basic Research in Florida. He is the author of 345 papers published in refereed journals and twenty post Ph. D. monographs in mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology; he is the Editor of a number of scientific journals in mathematics and physics and was awarded twelve U. S. patents. He is internationally known for developing new mathematics (known as Lie-admissible, Lie-isotopic and isodual mathematics) for the construction of hadronic mechanics, chemistry and biology, and for the verification of the 1935 Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen argument that "quantum mechanics is not a complete theory." These discoveries lead to the prediction of new technologies, incompatible with quantum mechanics but fully compatible with hadronic mechanics, which he developed as Chief Scientist at various U. Huang Haitao is a tenured professor in the Department of Applied Physics of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 1990 with a double bachelor's degree in applied physics and applied mathematics. Later, he studied for a master's degree under the famous "two bombs and one satellite" academician Wu Ziliang, and received a master's degree in materials physics from the Shanghai Institute of Metallurgy, Chinese Academy of Sciences (now the Institute of Microsystems) in 1993. In 2000, he received a PhD in Materials Science from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. In 2004, he joined the Department of Applied Physics of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and served as lecturer, assistant professor, associate professor and professor. He has long been engaged in the preparation, performance characterization and physical mechanism research of dielectric materials and new low-dimensional nanostructured new energy materials. Professor Raman Singh’s primary research interests are in the relationship of Nano-/microstructure and Environment-assisted degradation and fracture of metallic and composite materials, and Nanotechnology for Advanced Mitigation of such Degradations. He has also worked extensively on use of advanced materials (e.g., graphene) for corrosion mitigation, and stress corrosion cracking, and corrosion and corrosion-mitigation of magnesium alloys (including for the use of magnesium alloys for aerospace, defence and bioimplant applications). Lisha Peng is currently an Assistant Researcher with the Department of Electrical Engineering at Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. She is the deputy director of advanced electrical technologies institute, the deputy secretary general of the electromagnetic testing technology and equipment professional committee in CES, and the member of the Chinese society for non-destructive testing. She was selected for the Young Elite Scientists Sponsorship Program by CAST. Professor AbuBakr S Bahaj, FICE, FRSA, MInstP, CPhys is head of the Energy & Climate Change Division (ECCD) at the University of Southampton where he completed his PhD in 1982, and progressed from a researcher to a Personal Chair of Sustainable Energy. For more than 25 years, Prof Bahaj has pioneered sustainable energy research as the head of one of the UK’s leading university-based research groups, the Sustainable Energy Research Group, (SERG). The aims of ECCD and SERG are to promote and conduct fundamental and applied research and pre-industrial development in the areas of energy technologies, improvements in energy efficiency and assessing the impact of climate change on the built environment. Under the leadership of Prof Bahaj, the SERG involvement in ground breaking research projects in the UK, as well as in China, the Middle East and Africa, has been pivotal. Prof Bahaj is a major contributor to the energy debate at local, national and EU levels as well as through the organisation of and participation at major international conferences and meetings. As an experienced research team leader, Prof Bahaj has initiated and managed research in ocean energy conversion (resources, technologies and impacts), photovoltaics, energy in buildings and impacts of climate change on the built environment, resulting in over 240 published academic articles in journals and conferences of international standing (see Google Scholar publication analysis). From 2001 to 2007, Prof Bahaj was a member of the Department of Business and Regulatory Reform (BERR) Technology Programmes Panels on Water (including ocean energy) and Solar Energy. He is the co-ordinator of the UK’s Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) Eco-region research networks that aim to develop research themes and projects to study eco-city development encompassing resource assessment, technology pathways for the production and conservation of energy, planning, and the social and economic studies required in establishing eco-regions in China and elsewhere (www.eco-networks.org) (2007 – 2011). He is also an appointee of the EPSRC, the Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research Supervisory Board (2005 to 2010) and is a member of the British Standards Institute (BSI) Committee on Standards for PV Energy Systems (GEL82) representing the UK on the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) – Working Group 2 (WG2: PV systems) (2004 – to date). An internationally recognised expert in the field of renewable energy, Prof Bahaj has been invited to deliver keynote addresses at conferences throughout Europe, America, Middle East and the Far East. In 2007, he was invited to give the RSA Sigma President’s Lecture, chaired by HRH Prince Phillip. Prof Bahaj organised, managed and chaired the 9th European Wave and Tidal Energy Conference (EWTEC11), held in Southampton which was attended by around 500 participants from 22 countries. For over two years, he has chaired the EWTEC technical committee which runs the most prestigious global academic event in ocean energy research and development and he also chaired the Technical Committees of the World Renewable Energy Congress (WREC), held in Glasgow 2008. He is an active member of the technical committees of other conferences such as the Asian Wave and Tidal Energy Conference (AWTEC), the 27th International Conference on Offshore Mechanics and Arctic Engineering (OMAE 2008, Estoril), and a member of the Management and Technical Committees of the European Wave and Tidal Energy Conferences (EWTEC, Porto 2007, Portugal, Uppsala 2009, Sweden). Recently, Prof Bahaj established a new journal International Journal of Marine Energy, Elsevier, that addresses the research areas of ocean energy, focussing on wave and tidal energy. He was also the Guest Editor to the following issues: (a) ‘New Research in Tidal Current Energy’, UK’s Royal Society Philosophical Transactions A; January 2013 and ‘Marine Energy’ Renewable Energy, Volume 31, Issue 2, February 2006. He is also is an Associate Editor of the Journal Renewable & Sustainable Energy Reviews and is on the Editorial Boards of the journal Sustainable Cities and Society and the International Journal Sustainable Built Environment. Previously, he was on the Editorial Boards of the journal, Renewable Energy (2005 – 2011) and the UK’s Institution of Civil Engineering journal Energy (2006-2009). Prof Bahaj was also the Volume Editor and contributor for ‘Ocean Energy’ volume in a newly published major reference work, entitled Comprehensive Renewable Energy, Elsevier, (May 2012). This is an 8-volume work representing the latest research and development in renewable energy. In Feb 2013, this publication was awarded the PROSE Award 2012, Reference Work: Best Multivolume Reference/Science, by the American Association of Publishers. Yang Yun received B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from Wuhan University in 2012 and Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Hong Kong in 2017. He was a Research Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Mingcong Deng (deng@cc.tuat.ac.jp) earned his Ph.D. degree in systems science from Kumamoto University, Japan, in 1997. From April 1997 to September 2010, he was with Kumamoto University; the University of Exeter, United Kingdom; and the NTT Communication Science Laboratories; Okayama University, Japan. Since October 2010, he has been a professor with the Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology, Tokyo 184-8588, Japan. Ts. Dr Aslina Baharum is an Associate Professor and UX Researcher at the School of Engineering and Technology, Sunway University. Previously, she was a Senior Lecturer at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), and Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS). She also has industry experiences where she worked as an IT Officer for the Forest Research Institute of Malaysia (FRIM). She had experienced more than 20 years in the IT field. She received a PhD in Visual Informatics (UKM), a Master Science degree in IT (UiTM) and graduated Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in E-Commerce from UMS. She is a member of the Young Scientists Network - Academy of Science Malaysia, Senior Member IEEE, and certified Professional Technologist from MBOT, and served as MBOT/MQA auditor. She won several medals in research and innovation showcases and was awarded several publication awards, teaching awards, Excellence Service award, and UMS Researchers Awards. Dr. Dimitrios Rakopoulos, born in 1980, obtained his Diploma (2002) and Ph.D. degree (2007) in Mechanical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), Greece. Currently he is a Senior Researcher at the Chemical Process & Energy Resources Institute (CPERI) of Centre for Research & Technology Hellas (CERTH) (participation in 26 Research Projects of 8 m€ total budget for CERTH/CPERI; Principal Investigator in 10 of them with 2.54 m€ total budget for CERTH/CPERI; Coordinator in one of them with 18 International partners and 9 m€ total budget) and a Research Associate at the Internal Combustion Engines (ICE) Laboratory and the Laboratory of Steam Boilers & Thermal Plants (LSBTP) of the School of Mechanical Engineering of NTUA (participation in 11 Research Projects of 1.268 m€ total budget for NTUA). He has also wide industrial and managerial experience in non-academic environment, both in the Public sector (Public Power Corporation (PPC) S.A., Ministry of Environment and Energy/ General Directorate for Energy) and the Private sector (freelance Mechanical Engineer since 2002 in several energy projects on Wind Farms interconnection to the Grid, biogas exploitation for Cogeneration, hybrid PVs, etc.). Professor Om P. Malik has done pioneering work in the development of controllers for application in electric power systems and wind power generation over the past over 50 years. After extensive testing, the adaptive controllers developed by his group are now employed on large generating units. His other interests include digital protection, control of renewable power generation and micro-grids, and AI applications in power system control. He has published over 800 papers including over 410 papers in international Journals and is the coauthor of four books: (1) Electric Distribution Systems, (2) Power System Stability, (3) Power Grids with Renewable Energy, Power System Stability and Cointrol. Professor Malik graduated in 1952 from Delhi Polytechnic. After working for nine years in electric utilities in India, he obtained a master’s degree from Roorkee University in 1962, a Ph.D. from London University and a DIC from the Imperial College, London in 1965. He was teaching and doing research in Canada from 1966 to 1997 and continues to do research as Professor Emeritus at the University of Calgary. Over 100, including 54 Ph.D., students have graduated under his supervision. Professor Malik is a Life Fellow of IEEE, and a Fellow of IET, the Engineering Institute of Canada, Canadian Academy of Engineering, Engineers Canada and World Innovation Foundation. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the Provinces of Alberta and Ontario, Canada, and has received many awards. He was Director, IEEE Region 7 and President, IEEE Canada during 2010-11 and President, Engineering Institute of Canada, 2014-2016.

Dr Su Rong obtained his Bachelor of Engineering degree from University of Science and Technology of China, and Master of Applied Science degree and PhD degree from University of Toronto, respectively. He was affiliated with the University of Waterloo and Technical University of Eindhoven before he joined Nanyang Technological University in 2010. Dr Su's research interests include multi-agent systems, discrete-event system theory, model-based fault diagnosis, cyber security analysis and synthesis, control and optimization of complex networks with applications in flexible manufacturing, intelligent transportation, human-robot interface, power management and green buildings. In the aforementioned areas he has more than 300 journal and conference publications, 2 monographs, 18 granted/filed patents. Dr Su is a senior member of IEEE, and an associate editor for IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics, Automatica (IFAC), Journal of Discrete Event Dynamic Systems: Theory and Applications, and Journal of Control and Decision. He was the Chair of the Technical Committee on Smart Cities in the IEEE Control Systems Society in 2016-2019. Currently, he is a co-chair of the Technical Committee on Automation in Logistics in the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society. Dr Su is the recipient of 2021 Hsue-shen Tsien Paper Award from IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica, a Distinguished Lecturer for 2020 Chinese Conference on Decision and Control (CCDC'20) and an IEEE Distinguished Lecturer for IEEE Robotics and Automation Society.

Prof. Karim RAGUI is currently the Deputy Director of International Research and Cooperation (Europe/Asia). He received his double Ph.D. degree from USTHB University, and Paris-Saclay University, France (2016). He has been engaged in basic research of (i) Nanotechnology with heat-mass instabilities in porous media, (ii) applied nanofluids and innovative nano-materials for enhanced transfers, (iii) and Supercritical fluid thermal system application for Carbon Neutrality. He is an Editorial Board in SN Applied Sciences Journal (Springer-Nature), and Guest Editor in MATEC Journal (France), Fluid Dynamics & Materials Processing Journal (USA), and Engineering Research and Reports Journal (United Kingdom). He Co-Edited 04 Special Issues (Scopus) and Co-organized more than 30 International Conferences. Prof. Karim RAGUI developed innovative Experimental and Numerical models on: (i) Heat and mass instabilities of complex fluids and hazardous contaminants in microporous (2018), (ii) revealed flow-pattern and non-settling models for innovative nano-materials during pipe transportation (2021), and (iii) transient dynamic of Supercritical CO2 saturation in microporous media for Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) in China and Abroad (2023). The affable adjunct NUH scientist has a special interest in infrared (IR) physics & technology and has contributed greatly to research on IR, in particular on application of IR to biomedical sciences. The co-inventor of 3 USA patents on multiple analytical software classifier programs to identify the different stages of breast cancer development using thermal data with Lifeline’s First Warning TM system, he further explores the use of IR in the field of ophthalmology for early detection of health abnormality. Those 3 patents have attracted more than USD10m from USA directly. This First Warning Systems are processed for the CE Mark currently & to be followed by clinical validation with FDA and market entry of the inventions in select European markets. He collaborates with fellow researchers from National Health Group Hospitals, also, Poland and USA so as to consistently achieve breakthrough such as concluding the possibility of using the Biofield Diagnostic System as a better objective assessment tool for complimentary breast cancer detection.

S. K. Tyagi, presently working as Associate Professor at Department of Energy Science and Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi since April, 2017. Earlier he was working as Director/Scientist-E at Sardar Swaran Singh National Institute of Renewable Energy, Kapurthala. He has also worked as Assistant Professor at SMVDU, Katra (J&K). Prior to this he has been Invited Scientist at Korea Institute of Energy Research, South Korea, and Post-Doctoral Fellow at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong, Zhejiang University, Hangzhou and Xiamen University, Xiamen, China during 2002–2008. Dr. Tyagi has more than 27 years of research experience and expertise in the area of renewable energy both solar thermal and biomass energy and other energy related fields. He has made a significant contribution in RD&D activities and having more than 250 publications of repute and > 9000 citations. He has also guided 12 Ph.D. Theses and another 8 on-going, 20 M.Tech. & B. Tech. Projects, besides, Published 04 Books and 01 Special Issue of Biofuels Journal and 01 granted a patent and filed 03 more. He has also completed several RD&D projects (as PI/Co-PI) of worth of 150 Million INR funded by MNRE, CSIR, DRDO, CPCB, British Council, Indian Industry, etc. He is member several reputed societies such as, Indian Science Congress, Indian Physics Association, Solar Energy Society of India, Indian Society for Heating, Refrigeration, Airconditioning Engineers (ISHRAE). N. Rosmin is currently a lecturer in the faculty of electrical engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and research associate at Centre of Electrical Energy System (CEES). Dr. Mansoor Zoveidavianpoor has more than 24 years of experience, built upon his technical, operational, and management roles in industry and academia. He has a BSc in Geology and an MSc and Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering. He has been involved in different disciplines including project management, flow assurance, piping, environmental engineering, drilling, production engineering, reservoir management, and CCS. He has lectured on several courses at the University Technology Malaysia (UTM); Petroleum University of Technology (PUT) and Islamic Azad University (IAU), Iran. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), is registered as a Chartered Petroleum Engineer at the Energy Institute, and is an EIA subject specialist at the Department of Environment (DOE) Malaysia. He has published more than fifty publications in international peer-reviewed journals and conferences, contributed to five textbooks, and served on many scientific committees. Currently, Dr. Zoveidavianpoor is an associate professor at UTM and is involved in several consulting projects in petroleum engineering and energy transition. He is actively involved in multidisciplinary studies, and his current focus is on energy transition.

Hello everyone, I ’m Bachirou Guene Lougou from Benin. I studied a Ph.D. in Power Engineering and Engineering Thermophysics at Harbin Institute of Technology from 2015 to 2018. After graduation, I joined the faculty of School of Energy Science and Engineering in HIT. Mainly engaged in research on solar thermal chemistry utilization technology. Dr. Ahmed Boutejdar was born in Souk El-Arbaa du Gharb, Morocco. He received the Bachelor of Science B.Sc in Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Physics from both universities Technische Hochschule Köthen and from Ibn Tofeil University, Kénitra, Morocco between 1991 and 1995. From 1992 to 1993 Preparatory Year of german language and Preparatory Year of Engineering high School in köthen, Germany. B.Sc. and Diplom-Eng degrees (with highest honors) in Electrical Engineering, Communication, and Microwave Engineering from Otto-von-Guericke university, Magdeburg, Germany in 2002 and 2004 respectively, and the Ph.D. degree, Thesis title: Design, development and optimization of compact microstrip RF filters using "Defected Ground Structure" (DGS) technology (with highest honors) in electrical engineering from the Otto-von-Guericke university, Magdeburg, Germany in 2010. He worked until 2009 on research project entitled "Design, Analysis, and manufacturing of Microstrip Monopole DMS-Antennas and Compact Planar DGS-Filters ", founded by Land Sachsen-Anhalt at the University Magdeburg. Hamzah Faraj received the B.S. degree in computer engineering from Taif University, Taif, Saudi Arabia in 2010, the M.S. degree in Information Systems from Manchester Metropolitan University, Manchester, United Kingdom in 2017 and recently the PhD degree in Computer Science from the University of Liverpool, Liverpool, United Kingdom. From 2011 to 2018, he worked as a teaching assistant in the Department of Science and Technology at Ranyah University College, Taif University, Saudi Arabia. He also worked as a Computer Science Lecturer at the University of Liverpool, Liverpool, United Kingdom. His studies and research interests are in Artificial Intelligence and Smart Cities. He is the first Saudi researcher who developed two techniques of AI to optimise systems in smart cities using Genetic Algorithms and Simulated Annealing.

Yang Han (S’08-M’10-SM’17) received the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Shanghai Jiaotong University (SJTU), Shanghai, China, in 2010. In 2010, he joined the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), Chengdu, China, where he has been an Associate Professor in 2013, and Full professor in 2021. From March 2014 to March 2015, he was a Visiting Scholar with the Department of Energy Technology, Aalborg University, Aalborg, Denmark. He is currently with the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, UESTC. His research interests include the ac/dc microgrids, active distribution networks, power quality, grid-connected converters for renewable energy systems, active power filters, multilevel converters, and static synchronous compensators (STATCOMs). Dr. Han has received several national and provincial projects, and more than 30 industrial projects in the area of power electronics, smart grid, microgrid, and power quality analysis and compensation. He holds more than 40 issued and pending patents. Dr. Han was listed as “World’s Top 2% Scientist” (single year and whole career) by Stanford University in 2022, and highly cited Chinese researchers by Elsevier in 2023. He was the recipient of the Young Scientist Award in CPESE 2021, the Provincial Science and Technology Award in 2020 and 2022, Science and Technology Award from Sichuan Electric Power Company in 2019, Academic Talent Award by UESTC, in 2017, Baekhyun Award by the Korean Institute of Power Electronics, in 2016. AIT AYAD Imane was born in Morocco in 1994. She received the B.S. in industrial informatics, electronics and automatic in 2015, and the M.S. degrees in electrical engineering in 2017 and PhD degree in electrical engineering from Faculty of sciences and technologies, Cadi Ayyad University of Marrakesh, Morocco Her research interest includes the power electronics, control of DC-DC power converters, fault diagnosis, renewable energies, artificial intelligence, and control nonlinearities.

Dr Saifullah Khalid is an experienced specialist in optimization algorithms, aircraft systems, active power filters, and innovation. He holds the post of Senior Manager at CCS Airport, Lucknow, India, and leads the team of R&D members at CCS Airport, Lucknow, under the Civil Aviation Research Organization, India. He is also a Visiting Researcher at the School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering (5th in the world- QS Subject Ranking 2021), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Dr Khalid's background is in the invention of novel optimization algorithms. He has invented four novel optimization algorithms: Adaptive Lizard Foraging Algorithm (AALF), Adaptive Spider Net Search Algorithm (ASNS), Adaptive Mosquito Blood Search Algorithm (AMBS), and Adaptive blanket body cover search algorithm (ABBC). He knows Python, C++, and MATLAB/Simulink. He received the Best Researcher Award at the International Research Awards on New Science Inventions in 2022, Best Innovation Award and Outstanding Scientist Award at the International Best Scientist Awards in 2021, Best Researcher Award at the 11th International Scientist Awards on Engineering, Science, and Medicine, 2020, India., Outstanding Scientist Award at International Best Scientist Awards, 2020, and Best Paper award at National Conference on Technological Revolution in Electrical Engineering 2014 (TREE14), held at GBPCC, Pauri, U.K., India. He has been a keynote speaker and session chair and has delivered talks at various conferences in universities and colleges. He is a Fellow Member of the Universal Association of Computer & Electronics Engineers (UACEE), USA, Franklin Member of London Journals Press, London, Senior Member of the International Association of Computer Science and Information Technology (IACSIT), Singapore, International Association of Engineers (IAENG), and IEEE. In recent years, Dr Khalid has extensively researched the role and impact of novel optimization algorithms in active power filters, aircraft systems, and air traffic surveillance systems. Dr Khalid has completed a project, Generation of Electricity using Wind Energy Produced by Jet Blast of Airbus A320-200 and B737-800 for Only Departure Runways. Dr Khalid is leading the project, incorporating traffic resolution advisories made by local ATCOs of the station in the INDRA system under the Civil Aviation Research Organization, India. Besides, Dr. Khalid has extensive experience as a reviewer for academic journals, research agencies, government departments, and industrial bodies. Dr. Khalid has published over 100 research papers in international journals and conferences, including IEEE, Elsevier, Springer, 2 and Taylor & Francis. He is the sole author of 42 publications. He has authored four books, edited two, and contributed eight Chapters to edited books.

Yassine Amirat (Senior Member, IEEE) received the M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Annaba, Annaba, Algeria, in 1997, and the Ph.D. and Habilitation aÌ Diriger des Recherches degrees from the University of Brest, Brest, France, in 2011 and 2019, respectively.,He was a Lecturer with the University of Annaba from 2000 to 2010 and a Senior Consultant with the Algerian Institute of Petroleum, Boumerdès, Algeria, from 2001 to 2010. He is currently an Associate Professor of electrical engineering with ISEN Yncréa Ouest, Brest. His main research interests include electrical machines fault detection, diagnosis, signal processing, and statistics for power systems monitoring. He is also interested in renewable energy applications: wind turbines, marine current turbines, and hybrid generation systems.,Dr. Amirat is an Associate Editor of the Springer Electrical Engineering Journal and an Editor of the MDPI Journal of Marine Science and Engineering.

He received a bachelor's degree from Henan Agricultural University in 1986 (agricultural mechanization) and a doctorate in engineering from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics in 2008 (power electronics and electric transmission) . He studied at Xi'an Jiaotong University in 1988 , was a radio teaching assistant at Wuhan University from 1990 to 1991 , and was a senior visiting scholar at the Florida Institute of Technology in the United States from 2013.5 to 2014.5 . He once served as the Director of Academic Affairs and the Director of Science and Technology of Shanghai Institute of Technology. He is currently a doctoral supervisor at Shanghai Maritime University, a professor at Shanghai Institute of Electric Power, executive vice president of the Industrial Technology Research Institute of Shanghai Institute of Electric Technology, deputy director of the Micro and Special Motor Committee of China Electrotechnical Society, and vice president of Shanghai Electrical Machinery Industry Association . He has successively won honors such as National Baosteel Outstanding Teacher, Shanghai Famous University Teaching Teacher, Zhengzhou Advanced Teacher, and Top Ten Outstanding Young People in Jinshui District, Zhengzhou. He has won the second prize of the National Teaching Achievement Award, the third prize of the Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award, the third prize of the China Machinery Industry Science and Technology Award, and the first prize of the Henan Province Teaching Achievement Award

Sanjib Kumar Panda received a Bachelor of Engineering Degree with 1st Class Honours from Sardar Vallabhabhai Regional College of Engineering and Technology, Surat, India, in 1983. He was awarded the Gold Medal for securing the highest marks not only amongst the B. Engg. (Electrical) but also for securing the highest marks amongst all the B. Engg. (Civil, Mechanical and Electrical) students. He also earned a Masters of Technology Degree from the Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India in 1987. He was awarded the Gold Medal for securing the highest marks amongst all the M. Tech. (Electrical) students. Subsequently, he earned a PhD. Degree from the University of Cambridge, U.K., in 1991. He was awarded the Nehru Cambridge Fellowship and Overseas Research Studentship from the Cambridge Commonwealth Trust for Cambridge University for his PhD studies, 1987-1991. He joined the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the National University of Singapore as a Lecturer in 1992. He is currently serving as an Associate Professor. He has served as Director (Education) at the Design Technology Institute, a joint-venture between NUS and TU/e, The Netherlands and funded by EDB, Singapore. He has served as the Group Head of the Drives, Power and Control Group from 2007-2009. He was appointed as Area Director, Power & Energy Research Group of the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at NUS on 1st January 2010. Dr. Panda has carried out extensive research in various areas of control of electric drives and power electronic converters. He has co-authored 1 book and published more than 175 papers in international refereed journals and conferences. His current research interests are in energy harvesting both at high power level as well as at very low-power level for wireless sensor nodes and networks, control of distributed renewable energy generation, assistive technology and mechatronics. Dr. Panda has been very active member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and presently a Senior Member of the IEEE. He has served in various capacities as Chapter Officer in the IEEE Singapore Section Joint Power Electronics and Industry Applications Society Chapter. He has served as the Chairman of the IEEE Singapore Section in 2004. He was the Organizing Chairman for the International IEEE Power Electronics and Drives Systems Conference in 2003 as well as the International Conference on Sustainable Energy Technologies in 2008. He is the recipient of the IEEE 3rd Millennium Medal. He was awarded the Best Volunteer Award by the IEEE Singapore Section in 2006.

Carlos Iván Rivera Solorio obtained his B.Sc. in mechanical engineering from ITESM, Mexico at 1990. He obtained his M.Sc. in mechanical engineering from UNAM, Mexico in 1995. He received a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering at the University of Houston, Houston, Texas in 2001. His research interest areas are solar energy, convective heat transfer, renewable energies, energy efficiency in buildings and nanofluids. Dr. Rivera has been working in several projects for the industry and governmental agencies by more than 20 years. He is the author of more than 30 articles published in scientific journals in the areas of heat transfer, solar energy and nanofluids. He has advised more than 37 master thesis and 4 doctoral thesis. He is co-author of 2 national and 2 international patents. He has presented his research work in several national and international conferences. He received the Research and Academic Award of Engineering School from Tecnológico de Monterrey in 2009. He is member of the National Research System (SNI-I-Conacyt). He is currently full professor of the Mechanical Engineering Department and member of the Research Group of Energy and Climate Change at Tecnológico de Monterrey.

Mr. Suresh Aluvihara completed his postgraduate degree in the year 2023 from Department of Chemical and Process Engineering, University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka which is well recognized university in the world. His postgraduate research disciplines were Environmental Engineering, Material Engineering, Water Treatments, Pollution Control Engineering and Chemical Engineering. He received his first degree in the year 2017 from a recognized government university in Sri Lanka under the disciplines of Earth Science and relevant scopes. According to his research and academic profile, he has done more than 75 research publications in reputed journals, international research conferences and international workshops as the full papers, conference proceedings and abstracts while obtaining a large number of citations. When considering his contribution in conference works, he participated in a large number of international research conferences under the roles of keynote speaker, invited speaker, featured speaker, guest speaker, moderator and organizing committee member in both online and in person mode. At present he is serving as a researcher in Agricultural Soil Science while joining with an Agricultural Research Institute. In the consideration of his additional research and associated experiences, currently he is giving his services for a few of research journals as an editor and reviewer in his research interests. Nowadays he is conducting a few of research works as the leading investigator in Earth Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Water Engineering disciplines. Furthermore, he received some awards in best young scholar, excellence in research and best young scientist in a few of world recognized awarding schemers and he received some competitive opportunities for the participation in international research conferences and training workshops.
