Dr. Syed Hamid Hussain Madni is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the School of Electronic and Computer Science, University of Southampton Malaysia. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and brings over 15 years of academic experience, actively teaching and mentoring both undergraduate and postgraduate students. Dr. Madni has published over 40 ISI/Scopus-indexed research articles with a cumulative impact
factor of 42+, an H-index of 16 and an i10-index of 20. His research interests span a wide array of contemporary domains, including Computer Networks, Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), Industrial IoT, Big Data, Cybersecurity, E-Learning, E
Health, Blockchain and Information Systems. He has successfully led and collaborated on more than 20 national and international research
projects, and has secured over 8 research grants in partnership with institutions in Malaysia, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. His work consistently bridges academic innovation with industry needs
to solve real-world challenges. Dr. Madni is an active contributor to the global academic community, serving as a reviewer, editorial board member and session chair for several international journals and conferences. He frequently delivers keynote speeches and expert talks at international platforms including universities and forums in Pakistan, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and Malaysia. He has also organized
numerous workshops, seminars, and academic events through associations such as SPS, PGSS-SC UTM, ISS-Pak ISC UTM, UTM International, Elite Global Excellence and Connecting Asia.
