Dr. Rena C. Yu has established her academic trajectory, beginning with her Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics at Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (BUAA) in 1994. Her scholarly pursuit led her to the California Institute of Technology, where she earned her Master's in 1997 and her Ph.D. in 2001 in Aeronautics. In 2001, Dr. Yu joined the University of Castilla-La Mancha in Spain, initially as a postdoctoral fellow and subsequently advancing through the ranks of academia. As a beneficiary of the Ramón y Cajal program between 2003 and 2007, she solidified her research foundations. Her commitment to academia was recognized with a tenured position in 2009, and today, she serves as a Full Professor in Continuum Mechanics, with a research focus on computational fracture and fatigue damage in quasi-brittle materials, leveraging both finite element and meshfree methods. Since 2016, Dr. Yu has been a member of fibWG2.4.2, concentrating on numerical modeling of fiber-reinforced concrete. Her role as a member of the International Scientific Committee for the International Conference on Computational Methods since 2012 further underlines her influence in the field. Currently, she is an executive member of SEMNI (Spanish Society for Numerical Methods in Engineering), SEMTA (Spanish Society on Theoretical and Applied Mechanics, where she is the vice-president since 2023. She is a member of the General Council for IACM (International Association for Computational Mechanics) since 2022, a member of the Congress Committee for IUTAM (International Union for Theoretical and Applied Mechanics) for 2024-2028. She also serves on the National Evaluation Committee (ANECA) for Professor Accreditations in Mechanics for the term 2024-2026.

Dr. Faisal Manzoor Arain is an experienced construction project management professional and academic leader with an MS and Ph.D. in Construction Project Management. He has extensive experience, over twenty years, of working at management and leadership positions in industry and academia in Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, and Canada. Dr. Arain received a post-graduate certificate from Harvard University, Boston, USA upon completion of the Leadership Development Program in 2015. Dr. Arain has worked as Projects Manager in the construction industry of Saudi Arabia, and as Director Projects with Institute of Business Administration, Karachi, Pakistan. He has provided construction project management consultancy services through AR Management Global Inc. in Canada for many years. Dr. Arain has also served as a consultant to NUST, Pakistan, and KFUPM, and Aramco, Saudi Arabia. He has been invited to numerous technical and professional platforms as a Keynote speaker and a Plenary speaker to talk on design, architecture, and construction project management technical areas. Dr. Arain is an expert member of the World Association for Sustainable Development, UK. He was also invited and participated as one of the Expert Panel members by the Project Management Institute (PMI) for the Project Management Academic Development Workshop 2014, Paris, France. He has consulted, researched, and published widely in the discipline of Project Management and Design and Construction Management. He has authored over 120 research publications, 2 book chapters, and 13 books. Dr. Arain serves on editorial boards of several international technical research journals related to Architecture and Construction domains. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Construction Project Management published by Nova Science Publishers Inc., USA. Dr. Arain has a wealth of technical knowledge and experience as he worked in numerous professionals roles as an Architect, Project Coordinator, Project Manager, Director Projects, and Consultant with construction industry in Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Canada in the domains of Architecture and Construction Project Management. He has extensive experience of managing all phases of construction projects including conceptual phase, front end engineering design (FEED), detailed engineering, and related project aspects within construction project management domain

Dr. Engr. Surv. Ebenezer Akomah Gyamera is a highly accomplished professional with a distinguished career in engineering, surveying, and academia. With a unique blend of technical expertise, leadership, and a passion for education, Dr. Gyamera has made significant contributions to engineering and surveying in Ghana and beyond. His multidisciplinary background and commitment to excellence have earned him recognition as a leading figure in his profession. Dr. Gyamera is a licensed engineer and surveyor with extensive experience in infrastructure development, land management, and geospatial technologies. He has worked on numerous high-profile projects, including urban planning initiatives, transportation systems, and large-scale construction projects. His technical proficiency and attention to detail have consistently delivered high-quality outcomes, earning him the trust of clients and stakeholders. Dr. Gyamera holds a PhD in Engineering, specialising in geomatics or a related field, and has significantly contributed to academia. He has served as a lecturer, researcher, and mentor at leading universities, where he has inspired countless students to pursue careers in engineering and surveying. His research focuses on innovative solutions to challenges in land surveying, geospatial data analysis, and sustainable infrastructure development. He has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and presented at international conferences. As a leader, Dr. Gyamera has held key positions in professional bodies and institutions, where he has championed advancing engineering and surveying standards. He has actively developed policies and frameworks to improve land administration, infrastructure planning, and environmental sustainability. Dr. Gyamera is driven by a vision to harness engineering and surveying expertise to address critical national and global challenges. Through his work, he has contributed to Ghana’s socio-economic development and has strongly advocated for integrating geospatial technologies in national planning. A visionary leader and accomplished scholar, Dr. Vistasp M. Karbhari took office in June 2013 as the eith president of The University of Texas at Arlington (UTA). As president, he is committed to advancing UTA’s national and international profile while strengthening excellence in research and teaching and ensuring the success of UTA’s students in campus-based and online degree programs in Texas and around the world. In the 2017-18 academic year, UTA served almost 60,000 students through these programs. Under his leadership, UTA has achieved Carnegie R-1 status, was named a Hispanic-Serving Institution, and is ranked as the top educational institution in the State of Texas for Veterans and Adult Learners, in addition to having nationally ranked programs in each of UTA’s schools and colleges. Prior to joining UTA, President Karbhari served at the University of Alabama in Huntsville (2008-2013), the University of California San Diego (1995-2008), and the University of Delaware (1991-1995). A prolific researcher, President Karbhari is an expert in the processing and mechanics of composites, durability of materials, infrastructure rehabilitation, and multi-threat mitigation, and has authored or co-authored more than 460 papers in journals and conference proceedings and edited or co-edited six books. He is a fellow of several pre-eminent research organizations, including the National Academy of Inventors, the American Society of Civil Engineers, ASM International, the International Institute for Fiber-Reinforced Polymers in Construction, the International Society for Structural Health Monitoring of Intelligent Infrastructure, and the ASCE’s Structural Engineering Institute.

Dr. Agrawal is currently the Herbert Kayser Professor of Civil Engineering at the City College of New York and has expertise in diverse and broad areas of bridge engineering, including smart materials, inspection, monitoring, robotic, remote sensing, and inspections using unknown aerial vehicles, asset management of bridges, artificial intelligence technology and extreme hazards on bridges. Dr. Agrawal also has been PI of large number of projects from local, state, and federal agencies during the last 25 years with total external funding of more than $15 M. All these projects were completed successfully with significant, new contributions to the state-of-the-art. He has published more than 300 technical papers and reports. He has also carried out large number of technology transfer activities, such as developing seismic design guidelines for NYCDOT, scour countermeasure design guidelines, seismic design guideline and Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) operating procedures manual for NJDOT and design guidance for vehicle impacts on bridge piers for FHWA. Because of his outstanding efforts, he was awarded the best implementation award in 2022 by the New Jersey Department of Transportation. He served as the Editor in Chief of ASCE’s Journal of Bridge Engineering for 12 years and is the recipient of numerous national and international research awards. His time in this project will account for 80% of his non-teaching activities.

Senthilarasu (Senthil) Sundaram is a Professor in the School of Computing, Engineering and Digital Technologies at Teesside University. His passion towards energy and sustainability in the energy sector has started during his pre-doctoral research course (MPhil in Applied Physics) which leads to PhD in organic solar cells materials. He has published over 250 articles in well reputed journals and conferences along with 7 books. Senthil currently leads the sustainable energy material themed research in the Teesside University. Prior to joining in the Teesside, Senthil was an Associate Professor in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and as Lecturer and senior lecturer in University of Exeter where he led the “Energy materials” group within Environment and Sustainability Institute (ESI) where he led energy conversion and storage, environment friendly materials for energy applications. His research focus is sustainable energy vectors in through renewable energy especially in solar energy. He has strong background in resource assessment, theoretical modelling and simulation for different solar systems including thin film PV and third generation solar cell materials and devices and solar thermal. He has experience in sustainable energy generation through environmentally friendly materials such as dye-sensitised solar cells, Tin based perovskite solar cells and thin film photovoltaics which includes dye, synthesize, characterisation and recycle. He has worked on Impact Acceleration grants funded by ESRC to generate and estimate the impact in dairy and water industries in India. He is also currently working on the construction of environmentally friendly materials for flexible solar cells. He has involved in different projects as a PI and CoI funded by EPSRC (EP/S030786/1, EP/P003435/1, EP/P003605/1, EP/T025875/1), Interreg-ERDF funded The Intelligent Community Energy, ERDF funded Agri-Tech Cornwall and ESIF funded Energy Independent farming. His group is focusing on the heavy metal removal using graphene membranes and wastewater treatment in the textile industries. He is leading Impact Programme in the “Textile wastewater treatment and remediation using carbon materials” for developing countries to effectively recycle their textile wastewater. He is working on sustainable energy technologies to create environmentally sustainable materials for energy generation, storage, building integrated applications, thermal storage, water remediation, and low carbon heating applications.

Cosimo Magazzino was born in Grottaglie (Italy) in 1980. He obtained his BA in Public Administration and his Ph.D. in Political Science at Roma Tre University (Italy). POSITIONS He is a Professor of Economic Policy, European Economic Policy, and Environmental and Energy Economics at Roma Tre University; International Financial Markets at LINK Campus University; Environmental and Tourism Economics at "Niccolò Cusano" University. He is a member of the Ph.D. Council on Political Science, Roma Tre.

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Steffen Leppla, born 1979, studied civil engineering in Frankfurt am Main and in Darmstadt, Germany. From 2007 to 2017 he was a scientific research assistant at the Institute and Laboratory of Geotechnics of Technical University Darmstadt, Germany. The main research topics are soil-structure interaction, soil, rock and salt mechanics, tunneling and special geotechnical constructions. Since 2013 he is working also as project leader in the international consulting office Ingenieursozietaet Professor Dr.-Ing. Katzenbach GmbH. During his research and project work he supervises large national and international construction projects. 2013 he became a certified, independent expert for Geotechnics of underground metro systems and tramways. In 2017 he finalized his doctorate with excellence to the topic “Time variant material behaviour of granular rock salt and simulation in numerical models”. Since 2014 he is assistant lecturer for tunnelling at the Technical University Darmstadt, Germany. In 2021 he became a full professor for Geotechnics at the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences. Since this time he is also project leader and scientific consultant at the international consulting office Ingenieursozietät Professor Dr.-Ing. Katzenbach GmbH. The comprehensive practical and scientific experience of Professor Leppla is documented in more than 400 national and international publications and presentations.

Dr. Abayomi Afolayan is a Civil Engineer and Transportation Researcher specializing in highway geometric design, traffic safety, transport modeling, and intelligent transportation systems. He holds a Ph.D. in Highway and Traffic Engineering from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, an M.Eng. in Transportation Engineering from FUTA, and a B.Eng. in Civil Engineering from FUT Minna. He has conducted international research as a Visiting Fellow at Toronto Metropolitan University, Canada, and a Postgraduate Researcher at Newcastle University, UK. Currently a Researcher at Toronto Metropolitan University, Dr. Afolayan has over a decade of combined academic and professional experience, including lecturing in Civil Engineering Technology at the Federal Polytechnic, Ede, Nigeria. He is a registered engineer with COREN and an active member of ASCE, OSPE, NSE, NIHTE, and RILEM. His work advances safe, reliable, and sustainable transportation systems, with a focus on data-driven safety analysis and reliability methods.

Dr. Seyed Hossein Hosseini Lavassani is an Associate Professor of Structural Engineering at Kharazmi University, Iran, with extensive expertise in structural control, structural health monitoring, advanced concrete structures, and innovative construction technologies. He earned his Ph.D. in Structural Engineering from Tarbiat Modares University (2009), graduating as the top-ranked student with distinction. Currently, Dr. Lavassani serves as the Vice President for Student Affairs, a member of the University Board, and Head of the Structural Laboratory at Kharazmi University. He is also Secretary of the Iranian Concrete Scientific Association, affiliated with the International Federation for Structural Concrete (fib). Additionally, he has served as the Secretary-General of three National Conferences on Concrete and as Scientific Chair of two International Concrete Conferences. He is also the founder of three knowledge-based companies. Throughout his career, Dr. Lavassani has successfully secured research funding from prominent institutions such as the Iran National Science Foundation (INSF), the Vice Presidency for Science and Technology of Iran, and Tehran Municipality. Previously, he served as Director of the Growth and Innovation Center, founder of Kharazmi University's Science and Technology Campus, and advisor to the University President on industry relations. Dr. Lavassani has supervised over 45 theses, authored more than 40 peer-reviewed journal articles (with an h-index of 13), and holds several patents in sustainable construction and innovative structural monitoring solutions. His multidisciplinary research integrates advanced methodologies, including artificial intelligence, machine learning, and big data analytics, contributing significantly to structural engineering innovations. His leadership roles span various university committees, including the International Committee, the University Ranking Working Group, and the Industry Relations Committee. Committed to fostering academia-industry collaboration and interdisciplinary research, Dr. Lavassani continues to play a pivotal role in advancing structural engineering practices and educational excellence.

Mrs. Radhi Majmudar, PE is Principal of Innovative Structural and Specialty Engineering (InnovStructure), which she founded in 2009. With over 35 years of experience in structural design, retrofit, and advanced analysis, she has led projects involving long-span bridges, façade and glass systems, marine platforms, and climate-resilient infrastructure. Her technical expertise spans nonlinear seismic and wind analysis, AI-supported monitoring, and performance-based retrofit design. She holds dual degrees in Economics and Civil Engineering from Columbia University and MBAs from Columbia and London Business School. Radhi teaches at the university level and serves as Chair of the ASCE Metropolitan Section Sustainability Committee. She is also an active member of the ASCE National Committee on Sustainability. Her current focus includes digital frameworks for infrastructure reuse and smart city transformation.

An associate professor at the Fujian University of Technology, he obtained his Ph.D. in Architectural Design and Theory from Tongji University. His research spans ecological and energy efficiency research, low-carbon architecture design, sustainable planning for historic cities, regional architecture theory and design, climate adaptation, geothermal and UHI monitoring, building and energy simulations, environmental control, urban climate change, and carbon neutrality. At the Fujian University of Technology, he leads the project “Adaptive Green Architecture Strategies for the Future: Towards 'Zero Carbon' Housing” and is a principal researcher at the Fuzhou Research Base for Belt and Road Initiative studies. Dr. Akram has published over 15 papers in SCI, EI, and Chinese core journals and authored the book “Sustainable Adaptation Climate and Energy Efficiency of Traditional Buildings Technologies in the Hot Dry Regions - Case Studies in West Asia”, which has been translated into eight languages. He is a member of the Shanghai Architecture Society and its Ecological Construction Committee, as well as a board member of the Fujian International Talent Exchange Association. Dr. Akram's accolades include the Excellence Award for High-Level Talents and the "Excellent Instructor" honorary title at Fujian University of Technology, along with multiple awards in national competitions.

Masoud Akbarzadeh is a designer with a unique academic background and experience in architectural design, computation, and structural engineering. He is an Associate Professor of Architecture in Structures and Advanced Technologies and the Director of the Polyhedral Structures Laboratory (PSL). He holds a D.Sc. from the Institute of Technology in Architecture, ETH Zurich, where he was a Research Assistant in the Block Research Group. He holds two degrees from MIT: a Master of Science in Architecture Studies (Computation) and a MArch, the thesis for which earned him the renowned SOM award. He also has a degree in Earthquake Engineering and Dynamics of Structures from the Iran University of Science and Technology and a BS in Civil and Environmental Engineering. His main research topic is Three-Dimensional Graphical Statics, which is a novel geometric method of structural design in three dimensions. In 2020, he has received the National Science Foundation CAREER Award to extend the methods of 3D/Polyhedral Graphic Statics for Education, Design, and Optimization of High-Performance Structures.

As the Vice President of Academic Relations at Project Management Institute (PMI), Olivier Lazar works with universities, colleges, and academic networks across the world. He partners with these institutions to implement powerful learning solutions, like training and credentials, necessary to make a meaningful impact on the world. Prior to this role, Olivier served as Vice President of Community & Social Impact at PMI. He managed and drove teams to spearhead PMI’s mission to equip individuals and organizations with essential project management skills and community connection to drive meaningful social impact. Graduated from HKU (global subject ranking 14 in QS), I now serve as an Associate Professor in Dept of Economics and Finance in Hong Kong Shue Yan University. I am the founder and director of Sustainable Real Estate Research Center. My major research interests lie in SDGs, construction safety and health, housing economics, real estate economics, applied AI, I am listed as Stanford University World’s Top 2% Scientist across 22 scientific fields and 176 sub-fields of all scientists (2020-2022 single year, 2022 career-long) with the highest rank in the fields of artificial intelligence, Information & Communication Technologies, Environmental Sciences (2021)/energy(2022). I act as a journal editorial board member and SI editor for SSCI/SCIE journals, an author of 9 books and over 200 articles over the past eight years. Apart from writing single-authored papers mostly in my early career, I have quite an extensive academic network with research collaborators from Australia, the UK, Italy, the US, Cyprus, France, Canada, Thailand, Malaysia, Turkey, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia and mainland China etc. I am also an invited keynote speaker for over 30 conferences.

Dr. Sujata Mehta is an Associate Professor at Dr. Bhanuben Nanavati College of Architecture (BNCA), Pune, with over 20 years of academic and industry experience in India and US, including civil and structural engineering as well as architectural education. She holds a Ph.D. in Structural Engineering with a specialization in seismic-resistant structures. Her academic interests lie at the intersection of engineering and architecture, with expertise in structural analysis and design using materials such as RCC, steel, timber, bamboo, and ferrocement. She is particularly focused on seismic response control, smart materials like Shape Memory Alloys (SMA), and sustainable, context-sensitive structural solutions. Dr. Mehta has authored and presented several technical papers at national and international conferences, served as Session Chair, Resource Person and Guest Speaker at various conferences, seminars and workshops. She has contributed to peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings in areas such as vibration damping, resilient infrastructure, and innovative structural techniques tailored for architectural applications. Her work extends into emerging domains such as Application of drones, Non-destructive Assessment of Structures, Parametric structures, and Low-cost innovations for architectural education. In addition to her academic leadership, Dr. Mehta is deeply involved in mentoring students and bridging the gap between architecture and engineering through practical, research-oriented, and hands-on approaches. Her contributions continue to enhance the integration of structural logic in architectural design education, making her a respected voice in her field.

Mosbeh R. Kaloop received the M.S. degree from the Public Works Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, Mansoura University, Mansoura, Egypt, in 2006, and the Ph.D. degree from the Department of Disaster Prevention and Reduction Engineering and Protective Engineering, Civil Engineering School, Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China, in 2010.,He is currently an Associate Professor with Mansoura University, and a Research Professor with Incheon National University, Incheon, South Korea.
